Instructor Tyler Paterson is a graduate of Second City Chicago, a frequent musical sit-in with Stranger than Fiction, and auditioned for Saturday Night Live in 2013. He is the founder of the Ocean Park Comedy Camp for Kids, and can usually be found asking his dog, “What are you chewing? What’s in your mouth? Where did you get that?

Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.
The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!
A zany, wholesome, hilarious musical revue presented by the Little Sisters of Hoboken, Nunsense is a heavenly delight!
Nunsense is habit-forming! This riotous show is a fundraiser put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury sisters accidently poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia (Child of God). Updated with new jokes, additional lyrics, two new arrangements, and a brand new song, this madcap musical was recorded for television starring Rue McClanahan as the Mother Superior.
About the Nasson Youth Theater
NYT: A Youth Theatre Company is a non-profit program for kids ages 8-18. We have professional directors help them craft their acting skills. We expose them to all aspects of theater and the arts, from lighting and sound to costume and sets.
Join Nasson Youth Theatre on an experience of a lifetime! We are excited to announce our 2026 Summer Camp…..Disney The Little Mermaid Jr. Directed by Cat Mathews with musical direction by Karen Mathews and choreography by Emma Stevens. Camp runs Monday through Friday August 3-14 from 9am to 2:30pm. Evening performance on Friday, August 14th and BOTH matinee and evening performance on Saturday, August 15th. To secure your spot, a deposit of half the tuition is due at time of registration. The remainder is due by Monday, July 27th. Just 25 spots!
